About Us

Established in 2005 by The Nilambur Muslim Orphanage Committee (NMOC), Amal College of Advanced Studies stands as a distinguished institution in Nilambur, committed to providing advanced education and opportunities for the region’s young minds. Recognized by the UGC under section 2(F) & 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956, and designated as a Minority Educational Institution, the college is led by the vision of Sri PV Abdul Wahab, Honorable Member of Parliament and then Chairman of the Committee.

Nestled on the banks of the scenic Chaliyar river in Myladi, Nilambur, the college’s picturesque 26-acre campus in Santhigramam reflects its commitment to holistic education. Renowned for its tribal settlements and teak plantations, the region provides an inspiring backdrop for learning and development. The college offers a diverse array of undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs, distinguishing itself as the only institution in the country reserving 20 percentage of courses for Orphans.

How to get admission in Amal College?

Does college provide campus placement

We have a very active placement cell functioning in the campus which conduct campus placement drives multiple times in a year. students can participate in the drive according to their needs. contact placement officer at hafeesvkamal@gmail.com

How much seats are reserved for orphans?

Amal college is the only college in India which reserved 20% of its seats to orphans instead community reservation. Such students need to submit death certificate of either of their parents to avail the reservation.
