Yoga and Meditation

Orientation on Yoga and Meditation is organised every year at the beginning of the academic year for the first UG students during the ethics classes. The students are enlightened about the importance of yoga and meditation. The different kinds of yoga are and meditation methodologies are explained to the students. The benefits of yoga and meditation are also explicated during the orientation.

A demonstration on performing yoga is given to the first year students during the Ethics classes. Students are trained by specialists in yoga. The method of doing meditation is explained by the mentors to the concern mentees.

Yoga Day Celebrations 

Every year January 21st International Yoga day is observed. Service units like the National Service Scheme and students union jointly organise International Yoga day in a meaningful way.
