On March 13, 2024, the Department of Computer Science, in collaboration with Malappuram District Police, conducted a training program on cyber-crime prevention as part of the Digital Neighborhood Extension Activity. Thirty computer science students from Amal College trained volunteers from Myladi village under police guidance. Led by six team leaders, the sessions covered various topics such as password security, phishing awareness, and online privacy protection. The initiative, inaugurated by Dr. Zakaria TV, aimed to raise public awareness and empower communities against cyber threats.
