UG Admission 2023 is Open
The admission process for all UG programs is now open. Interested applicants must submit their applications through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) of the University of Calicut. The deadline for online submission is 12/06/2023, 5 pm.

Full time and part-time research program
The Research & PG Department of English at Amal College of Advanced Studies Nilambur offers both full-time and part-time PhD programs in English. Eligibility for admission requires a Master’s Degree in English with NET or JRF. Currently, the department has an intake of 16 candidates under four different research guides.

The Department of Commerce and Management Studies provides a three-year regular bachelor’s program in Commerce with Computer Application. The program is designed for students who have completed their 10+2 education. Admissions are open every year from June to July.
3 Years
Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto with at least one commerce subject are eligible for admissions to the B.Com degree course. Candidates who have not studied commerce subject for Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks are also eligible. A concession of 5% will be given to OBC/OEC candidates. The SC/ST candidates need get only a pass.

The Department of Tourism and Hotel Management provides a three-year regular bachelor’s program in Tourism and Hotel Management. The program is designed for students who have completed their 10+2 education. Admissions are open every year from June to July.

Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto are eligible for admissions to the BTHM degree course. The age of such candidates should not be below 17 years as on the First of July of the Academic year in which the admission is sought.

What is the process for applying for admission in Amal College?
All admissions to Amal College are facilitated through the centralized admission portal of the University of Calicut. Interested applicants must submit their online applications via the Directorate Admission Portal at https://admission.uoc.ac.in/.
What is the process to check if I have been allotted a seat or not in Amal College?
The Directorate of Admission, University of Calicut, publishes allotment lists through their admission portal. Students need to log in with their CAP details to check their allotment status.
Which courses are offered in the aided stream?
At Amal College, all courses, excluding B.Voc programs, are in the aided stream, and only government fees are applicable.
Is orginal documents required for admission?
During the admission process, original documents must be presented for verification. Both the student and a parent or guardian are required to be present for admission.
