Amal Campus offers a plethora of opportunities for young and dynamic students to showcase their skills, talents, and abilities, enabling them to shape a promising future. Our campus provides various clubs and forums designed specifically for this purpose.

Social Extension

Collaborate with our diverse social extension wings, spanning from nature club to national service schemes, to empower and create balance in our society.

To cultivate responsibility and social consciousness, we promote student involvement in social activities. Completion of undergraduate courses under the Calicut University Social Service Programme (CUSSP) mandates a minimum 12-day participation in social activities.

National Service Schemes

We have two units of the National Service Scheme under the University of Calicut: Unit No. 206 and Unit No. 249.

Nature Club

The Nature Club frequently collaborates with the Kerala Forest Department to organize programs and events.

Pain and Palliative Care

Amal Centre for Palliative Care is a neighborhood initiative dedicated to providing essential assistance to bedridden patients in need.

Bhumitrasena

Directorate of Environment & Climate Change (DoECC) has launched the ‘Bhoo Mithra Sena’ programme to promote environmental awareness among students.

ADMRF

Amal Disaster Management and Rescue Force is a dedicated initiative responding to the COVID crisis and Kerala floods.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan

Amal College actively participates in the Ministry of Education’s Unnat Bharat Abhiyan scheme, driven by the vision of transformative rural development.

Entrepreneurship Development

Join our entrepreneurship development wings, fostering an innovation ecosystem on campus with clubs and cells for entrepreneurship and innovation.

Our campus fosters innovation and entrepreneurship by providing a dynamic ecosystem where young entrepreneurs can ideate, incubate, and commercialize their ideas. Innovators can utilize our diverse forums to seek assistance at various stages of their project.

IEDC

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) operate under the supervision of Kerala Start-Up Mission.

ED Club

The Entrepreneurship Development Club is supported by the Department of Industries, Government of Kerala

IIC

The Institution Innovation Council (IIC) is an initiative of the Government of India’s Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD)

YIP

The Young Innovators Programme is specially designed Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC).

Students Union

Amal College is a politics-free campus. However students actively engage in co-curricular activities. Annual college union elections finds executive members for the student union.

Amal College of Advanced Studies Nilambur holds annual College Union elections in a parliamentary mode, where elected class representatives form the College Union for the academic year. 

Fine Arts Clubs

The Fine Arts Director coordinates both on-stage and off-stage competitions in various art forms at the college, intercollegiate, and national levels.

Subject Associations

Subject Association Secretaries are responsible for coordinating department-level association inaugurations and organizing subject-specific programs.

Sports

The General Captain coordinates the annual athletic meets at the college and oversees the participation of athletes in intercollegiate and national games.

Cultural Festivals

The College Union Secretary is responsible for organizing significant cultural events on campus, promoting communal harmony and unity.

Statutory Cells

Amal College used to strictly comply with the rules and regulations set by the authorities on a regular basis. We are fostering a culture of individuals who abide by the law on the campus.

As per UGC guidelines, our college has established various statutory cells on campus to provide timely and effective support to students from all backgrounds, enabling them to succeed both academically and personally.

Internal Complaint Committee

Constituted as special cell for gender-based violence and sensitization programmes.

Women Development Cell

Dedicated to promote the welfare and empowerment of women students and staff

Anti-ragging Cell

Works to prevent and address incidents of ragging, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.

SC/ST Cell

Provides supports to students  from scheduled caste, scheduled tribes and ensure their academic and personal success.
