TWO-DAY WORKSHOP ON TEACHING, LEARNING, AND EVALUATION:AN OBE PERSPECTIVE TO NEP 2020

e Two-Day Workshop on Teaching, Learning, and Evaluation: An OBE
Perspective to NEP2020, held on 27th and 28th April 2023 at the Conference Hall
of Amal College, provided a comprehensive platform for educators and
stakeholders to discuss and explore Outcome Based Education (OBE) in alignment
with the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP2020). The workshop, sponsored by
the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), was organized by
the Internal Quality Assurance Cells (IQAC) of Amal College of Advanced
Studies Nilambur in collaboration with MES Ponnani College.
Day One commenced with an auspicious Inaugural Session. The event began with
a warm welcome extended by Dr. Shihabudheen N, the Coordinator of IQAC. Dr.
Zacaria TV, Principal of Amal College, chaired the session, setting the stage for an
engaging and insightful workshop. The Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Jb. P V
Abdul Wahab, graced the occasion and inaugurated the workshop, emphasizing
the significance of adopting an OBE perspective in education. Esteemed guests,
including Dr. Anil Kumar K, Principal of Alphonsa College.S Bathery, Dr. Abdul
Sakir P M, Secretary of the College Council, Dr. Shemeer Babu T, Coordinator of
Steering Committee, NAAC Cell of the college and Mr. Ahamed Saleem T P,
Superintendent, offered their felicitations, further enriching the inaugural session.
Dr. Abbas Vattoli, Jt. Coordinator of IQAC, delivered the vote of thanks,
expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, participants, and organizers for their
support.
