Chaliyar Grama Panchayath, in collaboration with the NSS of Amal College Nilambur, conducted a special survey for the New India Literacy Program. The survey aimed to identify illiterate individuals in Chaliyar Panchayath, with a focus on marginalized communities. Inaugurated at Plachalchola, a tribal settlement, the program emphasized inclusivity and community empowerment. Ten NSS volunteers participated, showcasing a commitment to social responsibility. This collaborative effort exemplifies a proactive approach to addressing illiteracy and promoting socio-economic empowerment in underserved communities.
