The Department of Computer Science, in collaboration with the Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC), organized a successful live webinar on October 12, 2022, focusing on cybercrime awareness and career opportunities in cybersecurity. With 103 students in attendance via Zoom, the event featured insights from industry leaders including WG CDR VENUGOPAL K (RETD) and GP CAPT PA NAIDU (RETD). Topics included emerging cyber threats, career paths in cybersecurity, and networking opportunities. Moderated by Niloofer S., the event highlighted the dynamic nature of cybersecurity careers and emphasized proactive security measures. Overall, it was an enlightening session that inspired students to explore and pursue careers in cybersecurity.
