The Department of Tourism and Hotel Management of AMAL College, in collaboration with the Department of General Education and Kerala Commissionerate of Food Safety, organized a one-day workshop on food safety for Noon Meal workers at the school level. The workshop was held on 17th March 2021 as part of the SAFE initiative, aimed at ensuring ‘secure and adequate food for everyone’. The event brought together enthusiastic participants who gained valuable insights into food safety practices and regulations. The workshop served as a platform to educate and empower the Noon Meal workers, contributing to the overall improvement of food safety standards in schools.
