The Department of Commerce at Amal College of Advanced Studies, Nilambur, successfully hosted “Commercia ’24,” the commerce festival organized by the Amal College Commerce Association. The event took place on 8th August 2024, attracting enthusiastic participation and showcasing the vibrant spirit of the college community.
The festival was inaugurated by Mr. Sajad Thonikkadavan, the Founder & Managing Director of Chillies Restaurant, Wandoor. The event was chaired by Dr. Abbas Vattoli, Head of the Department of Commerce. The presence of the college’s Principal, Dr. Shemeer Babu T, and the IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Shihabudheen N, added to the grandeur of the occasion.
Commercia ’24 witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines. A total of 160 students from the Department of Commerce and 220 students from other departments participated in a wide array of competitions. The festival was expertly coordinated by Ms. O Nihala, Assistant Professor, who served as the teacher coordinator. Mr. Nihal K, a final-year B.Com student, played a pivotal role as the student coordinator.
