NSS units 206 and 249 of AMAL College Nilambur collaborated with PHC, CHALIYAR PANCHAYATH for a transformative COVID-19 control activity in 2020. Objectives included reinforcing local health systems, engaging students in pandemic control, and sensitizing the community to civil society’s role. Interventions included a comprehensive survey and setting up a help desk. Outcomes involved increased awareness, informed decision-making, and expanded community engagement. This initiative showcases the impact of community-driven efforts in pandemic control and community resilience.
