Department of Mathematics and Physics collaborated with Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell [IEDC] of the college in a meeting chaired by the college patron Shri. P.V. Abdul Wahab (Member of parliament, India) and decided to organize a project named ‘Entrepreneurship in Advanced Sensor Based Led Manufacturing’ jointly with IIEDC.
A seminar on ‘Energy Crisis and LED manufacturing’ was conducted on 06.02.2023 FN at college seminar hall, to familiarize the students to find solutions in relevant social crisis like energy crisis by means of academy and industry relation. First section ‘Energy Crisis and solution’ was handled by Dr. Ahamed Raseen Nanakkal, faculty, Department of Mathematics and Physics, Amal College of Advanced Stuidies
The Technical section was held on 06.02.2023 AN, at physics lab and the section was handled by Mr. Jmshihas, R&D Engineer, Embronics, Embedded Electronics Solutions (Pvt. Ltd.). section has organized in a two level manner. First one was hands own training on manufacturing of normal LEDs in different methods. Here three types of LED bulbs were developed, they were Driver on Board type LED bulbs, Driver type hpf LED bulbs and RGB LED bulbs (multi-color LED). Second level of hands on training was advanced LED manufacturing. Here three types of LEDs were manufactured. First one was Infra-red PR sensor LED bulbs. The Infra-red sensor LED include PR part which is bulk and also it can be seen as a bulge in LED. Another type of sensor LED is microwave sensor based LED. The Micro wave LEDs are very compact compared to infrared based LEDs. Another type hands own trained advanced LEDs were AC-DC inverter LED bulbs. About 58 students participated in the hands own training.
