On November 7, 2022, Amal College’s NSS units collaborated with Mylady Padasekara Samithi for a joint paddy plantation mission, aiming to revive paddy farming and ensure food security. The event witnessed active participation from students, farmers, and officials, fostering community engagement and knowledge sharing. This collaborative effort not only revived paddy farming but also promoted sustainable agricultural practices, setting a positive precedent for future initiatives in agricultural development.
