Following the devastating Kavalappara landslide, Amal College NSS Units 206 and 249 arranged a crucial program, “Visit to Kavalappara and Pathar Villages,” on September 4, 2019. The initiative sought to raise awareness regarding the repercussions of unsustainable resource use, improper farming techniques, and environmental dangers, particularly landslides. Through this endeavor, the college aimed to educate the community about responsible environmental practices and mitigate future disasters.
