On the designated date, 40 NSS volunteers, led by program officers Muneer Agragami and Nisha NS, participated in a destination cleaning initiative at Athirappally. The main goal was to promote environmental consciousness, eco-tourism, civic engagement in environmental protection, and intergenerational justice. They cleaned the Athirappally waterfalls and conducted awareness campaigns for tourists, villagers, and students, focusing on removing plastic waste and pollutants to restore the destination’s natural beauty.
