Amal College’s Department of Computer Science, in collaboration with the Women’s Development Cell, hosted a compelling talk on “Gender and Education” on August 26, 2021. Ms. Sini K, Assistant Professor of English, highlighted disparities in educational access based on gender and advocated for gender-sensitive policies. The session emphasized breaking stereotypes in education, encouraging girls in STEM, and engaging men in gender discussions. The event spurred meaningful dialogue and initiatives towards gender equality in education at Amal College and beyond.
