The Department of Commerce & Management Studies at Amal College of Advanced Studies organized a two-day workshop on “Financial Literacy and Stock Market Investment” as part of its Entrepreneurship Development initiatives. This workshop aimed to equip students with essential financial skills and insights into stock market operations. A total of B.Com and BBA degree participated in the workshop.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Shemeer Babu T, Principal of Amal College. Dr. Jubair T, a SEBI & NISM Empanelled Securities Market Trainer, conducted the workshop sessions. The sessions were interactive, involving discussions, case studies, and hands-on activities to ensure participants gained practical knowledge alongside theoretical understanding.
The workshop was coordinated and chaired by Dr. Abbas Vattoli, Assistant Professor & Head of the Department of Commerce. Mr. Nihal K, the Student Coordinator, played a key role in managing the event logistics and ensuring effective communication between participants and organizers.
