Research and Postgraduate Department of English
The Research and Postgraduate Department of English was established in 2005 and has become a prominent Department offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs in English language and literature. In 2013, the department launched its master’s program, MA English followed by PhD program in 2022.

Strong foundation in language literature & culture
English language and literature studies open doors to a wide range of career opportunities in the fields of teaching, content writing, print & visual media, and more. The Research and Postgraduate Department of English recognizes this and, therefore, places great emphasis on English language training and literature studies, with a focus on equipping students with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in their chosen career paths. The department actively engages students in extension programs that enhance their knowledge and skills, allowing them to participate in various cultural events, seminars, and workshops that facilitate their analytical and critical thinking abilities. Additionally, the department boasts well-equipped ICT-enabled classrooms and research rooms that provide students with state-of-the-art facilities for their academic pursuits.

Our blog, YouTube channel, Moodle platform, and other cloud-based resources create a vast collection of digital tools, ensuring learning becomes accessible anytime and anywhere.
Language Lab
Our language lab serves as a central hub for students to practice listening, reading, and speaking exercises, particularly with native speakers of English and other languages, enhancing their communication skills.
