Develop and Implement Quality Policies

To develop and implement quality policies and measures to ensure continuous improvement in the quality of education and other activities of the institution.

To evaluate and monitor the academic and administrative activities of the college to ensure that they are in line with the objectives and goals of the institution.

To promote research and innovation in the college by encouraging faculty and students to undertake research projects and publish their findings.

 VIDEO OF CYCLE II NAAC PEER TEAM VISIT

Amal College of Advanced Studies, Nilambur, underwent its Second Cycle NAAC Peer Team Visit on August 21 and 22, 2024. The highlights of this significant visit have been meticulously documented in a video, divided into three parts. Here is the video.

Quality Initiatives

E-Governance in academics & administration

a. Develop a roadmap for the implementation of e-governance in academic and administrative areas. b. Train the faculty and staff on the use of e-governance tools and ensure their proper implementation.

Green and Clean Campus

a. Use renewable energy sources, such as solar panels, for power generation.  b. Implement water conservation measures, such as rainwater harvesting and efficient water management practices.

Upgrading infrastructural facilities

a. Develop a plan for upgrading the infrastructure facilities of the institution, including academic buildings, laboratories, and libraries. b. Develop and implement a maintenance program to ensure the upkeep of infrastructure facilities. 

Skill acquisition and Internship opportunities

a. Develop a plan for offering diverse skill acquisition programs to students, including entrepreneurship, leadership, and communication skills. b. Collaborate with industry partners to offer internships to students and provide placement opportunities.

In the last five years, Amal College of Advanced Studies has successfully implemented two exceptional best practices. The Pace Sports Academy has significantly enhanced the athletic development of students, promoting a holistic approach to education. Notably, it has produced 7 international players and numerous national and state-level achievers, promoting sports empowerment and talent identification at the grassroots level.
