Programme Outcomes and Course Outcomes

The university has developed an OBE integrated curriculum for all undergraduate programs. Collaboratively, the IQAC and departmental teachers reviewed and enriched the curriculum, aligning Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) with the institution’s context. Additionally, a comprehensive mapping of Program Outcomes (POs) and Course Outcomes (COs) has been completed. The Learning Outcome Based Curriculum Framework (LOCF) syllabus is accessible on the website, providing detailed information on curriculum, PLOs, CLOs, and mapping.

PO CO Attainment

At Amal College of Advanced Studies, Outcome-Based Education (OBE) is seamlessly integrated into the curriculum with clear communication of Program Outcomes (POs) and Course Outcomes (COs) to stakeholders. Assessments are meticulously mapped to these outcomes, ensuring alignment with educational goals. OBE attainment is measured through both direct and indirect methods. Direct measures include examinations, assignments, and seminars, while indirect measures encompass exit surveys and viva voce. These assessments are graded on a scale of 1 to 3, reflecting attainment levels. Utilizing Embase Pro-Suit’s OBE module facilitates precise calculation and reporting of OBE attainments. Tutors maintain physical documentation of OBE tabulation sheets for internal examinations, which are also entered into Embase for comprehensive record-keeping. Ultimately, final OBE attainment reports are meticulously compiled by tutors, ensuring a thorough understanding of student performance classwise.
